I can’t believe that it is already the last week of our first half term in Year 4, and what a last week it has been!
We were lucky enough to have had a Roman Workshop with Matthew Bellwood where the children took part in lots of exciting learning activities including role play, trying on different costumes and outfits and understanding the roles within Roman society.
We also brought our Art and DT shield designs to life and used cutting, glueing and painting skills to create wonderful Roman shields ahead of our battle against the Celts (4A and 4C) in Autumn 2! These will be used for our battle against the Celts (4A and 4C in Autumn 2!).
