Our first week back has been filled with lots of activities including samba, silent debates and excellent writing work.
4M have enjoyed using the surdo drums, ganzas, agogo bells and tambourins over the past half term and produced a beautiful composition on Wednesday with Mr Ash.
We also looked at Islam and its key teachings, beliefs and community. Whilst doing this, we did a silent debate activity where children worked in teams to explore and research The Five Pillars of Islam, the Mosque, the Quran and Islamic festivals.
We also had fun working out different strategies to help us master our 9 times tables!
We look forward to next week where we have an exciting virtual Michael Rosen workshop and where will celebrate Remembrance Day on Wednesday 11th November and Children in Need Day on Friday 13th November. Well done for a fantastic week back everybody and have a lovely weekend!
